Day 01: Delhi Flight to Leh

On day 1, you will take the flight form Delhi airport to Leh. Once you will reach Leh you will be welcomed cordially by one of our representatives. Taking the flight to Leh from Delhi is the only option as the passes and roads are blocked due to heavy snowfall. Our representative will be glad to drive you to the hotel where a warm and cosy room will be waiting for you. You will be spending the whole day in Leh. This is to make sure you get used to the weather and altitude. Resting in Leh will also help you gather the energy which will be used for the subsequent days. If you want to chill out, you can head to the local market. Also, just in case you missed something for your trek, you can buy it on this day. You will spend the night in the hotel.

Day 02: Drive from Leh to Chilling; Trek to Tilat Sumdo

From day 2 the real journey will begin. You will be driven to Chilling. But we will make sure that you enjoy the journey as much as the destination. Therefore, we will also stop at Nimu village where the confluence of two incredible rivers Indus and Zanskar provides a stunning view. You can take the pictures and spend a little time there. Then we will head to Chilling which is a very popular Leh town. Chilling is known for a lot of things including craft work and metal work. Chilling is nearly 65km form Leh. But you will find the journey to be truly amazing and thrilling, especially when we will encounter the hairpin turns. After some drive we will reach the valley of river called Chadar where you will witness the snow sheets. This is the place from where the vehicle cannot go any further rand hence you will need to trek. The trek will be along the Zanskar River which you will find to be frozen. We will finally reach Tilat Sumdo. The trek usually lasts for 1 hour. However, depending upon your speed and the amount of time you take to rest in between, it may also last for as long as 2 hrs. Here you will camp. You can also have some fun walking on the snow sheets. You will spend the night in the tents.

Day 03: Tilat Sumdo to Tsomo Paldar (6 hour Trek)

The day will start a little early in the morning. The breakfast will be served to you before 8am. We will continue our walk on the snow sheets. While walking on the snow sheets, you will get to hear the incredible sound of snow forming and snow breaking. The sound may also appear a little mysterious. After a little while you will get used to walking on the ice and you will also be able to identify where the ice is thin and where it is thick. You might get a little tired after a while therefore we will stop for lunch. We will make sure that the place where you stop has enough sunlight. You will be completely awed at the sight of the frozen waterfalls. You will reach the destination where you will camp. The night will be spent in the camp.

Day 04: Trek from Tsomo Paldar to Tibb (8 hours)

Brace yourself as it will be one of the toughest days with 8 hour trek. Again, the day will start early in the morning. After the breakfast we will get started for the trek. Notwithstanding the duration of the trek, you will certainly enjoy it as you will witness the sights that you can barely image. During trekking, you will see the frozen water and ice on all sides. You will also be thrilled while passing through the very narrow gorges. There are a lot of other things as well you will see. For instance, you might also get to see the rare blue sheep. They are called bharals. We will stop for lunch and also for snacks. We will arrive at the campsite and spend the night there.

Day 5: Tibb to Nyerak Pullu Trek (7 hours)

This is another day when you will be trekking on the snow sheets. You will need to exercise a bit of caution and make sure you walk on the part of the frozen river which is firm. During the trek, some amazing sights will unravel before your eyes. Snow peaked mountains and giant falls with frozen water will overwhelm you. You might also get to see some mountain wildlife such as fox. We will stop for lunch and continue with the trek. You will reach the campsite at the start of the evening or later afternoon. You will also get to see a really old bridge (nearly 1000 years old) in ramshackle. This bridge takes you to Lingshed from Nyerak. You will spend the night in the camp.

Day 6: Nyerak Pullu to Tibb trek back

On the 6^th day we will return to Tibb. While you might feel that you will have the same experience again, you will be surprised to see how different this land can get at different times. While on the trek back, you will witness that the ice sheets covering the Zanskar River keep on transforming. You will see them breaking and then they will form again. This is the reason why you will see the change in the landscape. The colours, hue and texture will change and thus you will feel you are walking down a different path. After passing many villages you fill finally reach the campsite and you will spend the night there.

Day 7: Tibb to Shingra Koma Trek

Day 7 will also be pretty eventful as we will start our trek to Shingra. It will be pretty safe to say that this will be the most scenic trek so far. You will see the rivers flowing between the mountains. The mountain flanked river will make you feel as you are walking down the wall of a fortress. The snow covered mountains and the hazy sky will definitely enthral you. We will have the lunch at around noon and then head to the campsite. The campsite is located amidst beautiful landscapes and sceneries on all sides. Camp here overnight and get ready for the next day.

Day 8: Shingra Koma to Tilad trek; Drive from Tilad to Leh

Day 8 will be your final trekking day. Therefore, you will want to make the most out of it. You will again be walking on the Zanskar River covered with snow sheet. Make sure you take lots of pictures and enjoy every bit of the time. At Tilad, the vehicles would be waiting for you to take you back to Leh. Spend the night in Leh in a comfortable hotel

Day 9: Back to Delhi

In the morning you will be taken to the Leh airport after the breakfast. You will catch your flight back to Delhi.
