Village Tour of Rajasthan is specifically designed to provide the travelers a glimpse of colorful Rajasthan with the most off beat destinations along with its myriad tribal societies and traditional customs and rituals maintained in the small villages of the state. With this tour, get to know Rajasthan in a completely different way.

Day 01: Arrive at Delhi

The splendid tour starts from the National capital city New Delhi. On arrival at Delhi airport our representative will be present to escort you to the hotel where you can check in for some leisure time and overnight stay.

Day 02: Delhi – Ahmedabad

This is the first day of the tour so have your breakfast and get ready for the capital city tour. Visit the major attractions like Purana Quila, Qutub Minar, Humayan Tomb, Raj Ghat, Indian Parliament house, Rashtrapati Bhawan and India Gate,  Jama Masjid, Laxmi Narayan Temple and Delhi Kalibari. After a brief tour in Delhi, get shifted to airport and from there board a flight to Ahmedabad. On arrival check in a hotel for night stay.

Day 03: Ahmedabad – Dungarpur

Post breakfast the day begins by visiting the mesmerizing sightseeing spots in Ahmedabad.  Visit the prominent spots like Swaminarayan Temple, Siddi Sayeed Masjid, Gandhinagar, Heritage Walk, Akshardham Temples etc. Enjoy the lunch with an exclusive thali from Ahmedabad. From Ahmedabad take a long drive of 3 hours to reach Dungarpur which is based 174kms away. On arrival check into a heritage hotel and enjoy the luxury there. Savor excellent flavored dinner by expert Chefs at the hotel and retire for the night.

Day 04: Dungarpur

The fourth day of the tour is extremely special as you get a chance to meet the popular and the oldest tribe, the Bheels. Post breakfast, leave for the village tour where you get to visualize the life of these people up close. The Bheels are known to inhabit the Aravali ranges from as early as 4000BC. Know more about their tradition and culture after speaking to the locals in the village. Coming back to the hotel have lunch and went out for sightseeing in Dungarpur. The popular destinations include Bada Mahal, Juna Mahal, Gaibsagar lake, Shrinathji Temple, Udai Bilas Palace, Nagfanji Old Temple and others. After sightseeing return back hotel for the night stay.

Day 05: Dungapur –Udaipur

In the morning start the day buy enjoying a healthy breakfast and set out for a drive of 107kms to Udaipur via NH8. This is a two hour journey and on arrival at Udaipur check in to one heritage hotel for relaxation. After having lunches set out for the city tour and enjoy the popular destinations like Lake Pichola, Jagdish Temple and City Palace. After having a good tour, get back to hotel and rest for the day. Spent the night at the hotel

Day 06: Udaipur – Ghanerao

After having breakfast take a tour of Kumbalgarh Fort which is ideally the birthplace of Maharana Pratap. This is a 15th century Fort which has exclusive attractions in terms of architectural excellence. From Kumbalgarh proceed towards Ghanerao which is around 58kms away and takes about a little more than 1 hour to reach. On reaching Ghanerao check in the Royal Ghanerao Castle for a luxurious stay.  This is indeed a royal stay where you can experience the royal life in a palace which once belonged to the royal kingdom of Mewar. After a royal lunch set out for a sightseeing tour in Ghanerao . Visit the various temples and enjoy the village life here. After the village tour return to the hotel for night stay.

Day 07: Ghanerao – Narlai

Have a healthy and royal breakfast in the morning and proceed straight towards Narlai. This is a short drive of 20 minutes for a distance of 14kms. It is a pictorial trail to Rawla Narlai. It’s a citadel constructed in the 17th century and it comprises of 15 luxurious suites. Once checking in the royal accommodation, relax and enjoy the exotic beauty of the place. In the afternoon relish the mouth watering buffet from the expert chef and live life grand. After lunch it is a leisure time for the travelers. They can either stay put or enjoy the neighboring areas or shopping at the local markets. Buy some exclusive Rajasthani handicrafts, rajasthani puppets as a souvenir of the tour. End the day with night stay at Rawla Narlai.

Day 08: Narlai- Sodawas

Post breakfast start the day by travelling to Sodawas which is around 480kms away and takes around 8 hours to reach. Check in at the Sodawas Kot on arrival. After freshen up, set out for a local sightseeing tour enjoying the neighboring areas, the lifestyle of people based here and the bustling markets. Conclude the day by being a part of the dinner by the royal family, discussing about the rich heritage and tradition of the state. Retire for the night at Sodawas Kot.

Day 09: Sodawas – Rohet

Have a healthy and delicious breakfast in the morning and leave for Rohet which a 16th century village is bearing a rich tradition of the state. On arrival at rohet check in at Rohet Garh Fort which is a fascinating and captivating heritage hotel which once served as a Royal Fort. Part of the area of the heritage hotel still remains private which is occupied by the Royal family which still stays here. After having a grand lunch, set out for the village tour and meet the locals experiencing more about their lifestyle. Once the tour is complete get back to the fort for the night stay.

Day 10: Rohet – Jodhpur

Post breakfast hit the road for a drive to Jodhpur which is around 40kms away. On arrival, check in at another heritage hotel in Jodhpur, the Ajit  Bhawan Palace. After relaxing for some time have lunch and set out for a city tour. Visit the popular places like Mehrangarh Fort famous for its architecture, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada, Kalyana Lake, Mandore Gardens, Ghanta Ghar etc After a complete roam around return back to Ajit  Bhawan Palace for night stay.

Day 11: Jodhpur- Jaipur

Start early on the eleventh day by having breakfast and proceeding towards railway station. In the railway station board the Intercity express for Jaipur. On reaching Jaipur check in at one of the heritage hotels and freshen up. In the evening set out for shopping in the popular markets of Jaipur to purchase handicraft items, blue pottery and local jewellery. Return back to hotel for the night stay

Day 12: Jaipur

The day is dedicated for a complete tour in Jaipur. Head out for the beautiful Amber Fort and enjoy elephant safari to roam around the fort.  After Amber Fort visit City Palace which still houses the Royal Family, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal the Palace of Winds specially built for the ladies, Nahargarh Fort, Jal Mahal and others.Enjoy some great local food like dal bati churma and Ghewar to get the real feel of Rajasthan. After sightseeing, return back to hotel for the night stay.

Day 13: Jaipur – Agra

The next day after breakfast set out for Agra. It’s a 241kms journey taking around 4 hours to reach the destination. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri a prominent part of the bygone Mughal Empire. In fact it served as a capital of the Mughal kingdom for few years. After reaching Agra, check in a hotel and relax. In the evening set out for a tour to the brilliant Taj Mahal and return back to hotel for night stay. Before leaving Taj Mahal do enjoy the naturally illuminated Taj at night time.

Day 14: Agra – Delhi

The last but one day of the tour is dedicated for Agra tour. Visit the popular attractions like Agra Fort, Diwan e Aam, Moti Masjid and Musamman Burj. After enjoying the heritage places and doing some shopping in the local markets of Agra, leave for Delhi. On arrival check in a hotel and relax for the night.

Day 15: Delhi- Depart

On the last day of the tour enjoy a relaxing breakfast and enjoy half a day at the country capital. Enjoy some shopping at popular markets and in the afternoon check out of the hotel to depart for homeland.
