Day 1 – Arrival in Yangon

Our tour guide will be at the Yangon airport to greet you and assisting you in the immigration process. You will be driven on our private car into the town and on the way we will stop by at the city’s best spa for a foot massage. Everybody knows how tiring the long international flights can be and a foot massage is the best way to relax. From there you will be transferred to your hotel where a special wedding present is awaiting you.

In the afternoon, our travel guide will take you to the city centre of Yangon. The city, erstwhile known as Rangoon, is a delightful place with rich historical and cultural heritage. Walk around the city centre and behold the regal colonial buildings which are in crumbling state. Pass around these relics from the pastto the bustling street market and also have a view of the spectacular sparkling pagodas. A short two kilometers tour can be taken to observe the imperial historical sites, lush parks and lively markets.

Thereafter, enjoy the splendid view of the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, which is one of the most sacred sites of Myanmar. The temple is believed to preserve eight hairs of Gautam Budhha. The 325 feet stupa is decorated with immense gold leaf as well as other precious stones and diamonds. It is encircled by other smaller sparkling stupas. Your travel guide will take you through the site, explaining you about the various rituals, traditions and history of this revered temple. In the evening when the sun is about to set, the guide will take you to a vantage point from where you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the flaming golden stupas in the reddish glow of the setting sun. After this mesmerizing experience, return back to your hotel, where a special champagne bottle and a welcome present is waiting for you in your luxurious room. The day will end with a night stay at the hotel The Strand.

Day 2 – Yangon – Bagan (B,D)

The day will start with a quick breakfast and transfer to the Yangon airport from where you will catch a domestic flight to Nyaung Oo. Upon arriving you will be transferred to your hotel in Bagan. A special wedding present will be waiting to welcome you in your room. After getting fresh, the tour guide will take you to visit the erstwhile royal capital of Myanmar, Bagan, known for its landscape dotted with spectacularly glittering pagodas. Bagan is an important archaeological site of Asia, with architectural wonders overwhelming the landscape. The tour will continue to the Ananda Paya, another most revered site of Myanmar. In the morning, the place exudes tranquillity where you can feel at peace. The next stop in the tour is the Gubyaukgyi temple located in the Myinkaba village. The temple is renowned for its stunning mural paintings. Pay visit to the neighbouring Manuha Temple and Nan Paya to admire the stone architecture.

The heat in the afternoon can be intense in Bagan and therefore you will be returned to the hotel for lunch and some restful time. In the late afternoon, you will be taken to visit the workshops of lacquer ware and wood crafting. You can have firsthand experience of watching experienced and practiced craftsmen, creating beautiful articles with methods passed on by their ancestors.

Thereafter a horse carriage ride will take you to traverse the numerous temples of Bagan starting at Ananda. Get back to your hotel in the evening to enjoy a sumptuous dinner with your love. The day will conclude with an overnight state at Aureum Palace, Bagan.

Day 3 – Bagan (B)

The third day of the tour will take you to the lively and vibrant market of Nyaung Oo, where you buy the fresh local produce in the shops. The tour will continue to the nearby villages, where you can watch the locals and learn about their traditional way of life. From there you will be taken to admire the dazzling Shwezigon Pagoda. Head towards the Taungbi Monastery with the tour guide and partake in traditional Buddhist ceremony and take blessings from the monks for your happy life together. Return back to your hotel for afternoon break and enjoy mouth watering lunch.

In the late afternoon, head for your most romantic evening, sailing quietly over the Irrawaddy River on our private luxury boat. Enjoy the tranquillity, beautiful scenery, under the canopy of glowing sky of setting sun, cocktails and canapés. In the night, return to the hotel and enjoy your dinner. The day will conclude with an overnight stay at Aureum Palace.

Day 4 – Bagan – Heho – Inle Lake (B,D)

Today you will catch a domestic flight to Heho from Nyaung Oo airport. Upon arrival, a one hour drive will take you to Nyaung Shwe village. Pass the beautiful scenery to reach the village which is a doorway to the magical Inle Lake. Visit the Nyaung Shwe market in the morning and observe the daily lives of the locals. After that you will be riding a private boat to traverse the water of Inle Lake. Stop by at the stilted restaurant and enjoy a nice lunch. After the lunch you will be taken to visit the Phaung Daw Oo pagoda, which enshrines five statue of Buddha before heading to your hotel for check in. In the room you will be welcomed by an exotic fruit basket and gift. Tantalize your taste buds with wine tasting at Inle Princess Resort, followed by overnight stay at your luxurious room.

Day 5 – Inle Lake – In Dein (B,L)

Start the morning with a leisure private boat trip through a cove to reach Pa-oh village of Indein. Traverse the area on foot and capture the beautiful and charming stupas and pleasing landscape. Be a guest to a local family, learn about the local cooking style and ingredients, and enjoy the fruits of your labour at lunch. Return back to the hotel for a leisurely afternoon. Enjoy the dinner at the hotel and end your day with the overnight stay.

Day 6 – Inle – Heho – Yangon (B,D)

Today morning, you will be transported to the airport to catch a flight back to Yangon. Spend the afternoon shopping for the beautiful handicrafts from the Scott Market. Head back to your hotel to enjoy the rest of the day as you please. Enjoy a romantic candle light dinner at Le Planteur before returning to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7 – Depart Yangon (B)

A private car and travel guide will be with you, until it is time for you to bid adieu to the beautiful Myanmar.
