Kashmir Honeymoon Tour

Day 01: Delhi to Srinagar

The exciting honeymoon tour to Kashmir begins from Delhi, the capital of the country. On designated time reach Delhi airport to board a flight for Srinagar which takes around 1 hour 30 mins approximately to reach the destination. On arrival at the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir you will be received by our representative who will escort you to the pre booked hotel and help you settle by finishing the check in formalities. Once done the day can be spent in leisure or by visiting the neighboring areas. Dinner and overnight stay would be at the hotel.

Day -02 – Srinagar sightseeing

Begin the day by relishing a fabulous breakfast at the hotel and set out for a fantastic tour in Srinagar. The essence of Srinagar remains exhibited by the extravagant scenic display encircling the city along with indulgent houseboats, pious yet unique Kashmiri wooden mosque, lavish and pictorial historic gardens and warm and sensitive populace. The first destination would be the panoramic ancient structure, Pari Mahal which was built in 17th century , a seven terraced garden based on the top of Zabarwan mountains providing a fascinating and all around view of the beautiful city Srinagar. Apart from one can also visit other attractions like Khanqah Shah -i-Hamdan, a 1730 built Muslim meeting hall, Badshah Tomb, a 15th century brick Tomb on the plinth of ancient Buddhist temple, Hari Parbat fort, Hari Parbat Hill, Makdhoom Sahib Shrine, Sankaracharya Hill, Jama Masjid and Pather Masjid. In the evening take a Shikara ride in Dal Lake which is considered as the jewel of Srinagar. The lazy undulating rhythm over the mirror like sheet of water reflecting the wooden houses, the starry sky and the distant Pit Pinjal mountain peaks create a wonderful ambience which is simply unforgettable. After the day visits, return to hotel and enjoy dinner and night stay here.

Day 03: Srinagar- Gulmarg

Post breakfast, the third day of the tour is scheduled for a scenic journey to Gulmarg which is also commonly named as the Meadow of Flowers. From Srinagar it is a distance of around 60kms and takes about 2 hours or more to reach the destination. Since it is based at an altitude of 2730 meters, an array of scenic extravaganza with distant snow capped mountains, blue sky and lovely greenery can be visible all throughout the drive. On reaching at Gulmarg, check in a hotel to deposit the luggage and freshen up for a tour in this lovely location. The first day at Gulmarg is dedicated for enjoying the beauty of the location and take leisurely walks across lush and verdant meadows beautified with colorful flowers of varied origins in the backdrop of snowy mountains. Though optional but one can try the adventurous yet scenic Gandola ride or the rope way to Khillanmarg to enjoy the beauty of Kashmir more. 13km from Khillanmarg is a frozen lake which exhibits beauty unlimited. At night return to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 04: Gulmarg Sightseeing

On the fourth day of tour, complete the breakfast at the hotel and set out independently to enjoy the beauty of Gumarg. There are several attractions at Gulmarg but what excites more is the panoramic view of flow clad meadows and snowy Alpine range making it a paradise for the nature lovers. However for the adventure seekers it is a heaven on earth too since it serves as the heartland of winter sports. Visit Shark Fin an ideal location for powder skiing or one can also check out the longest 18 hole Golf course in the country. Busk in the beauty and ambience the refreshment and the liveliness of the area which invokes the adventure mind as well as provides a pleasant peacefulness and creates a mélange which is inexpressible in words. The night stay would be at the hotel.

Day 05: Gulmarg- Pahalgam

Start the day by enjoying a healthy breakfast at the hotel. After the meal, set out for a long drive to Pahalgam also popularly called as the “Valley of Shepherds” On the banks of the Lidder River , Pahalgam is a small town in Anantnag district. The place is located at a distance of 145kms from Gulmarg and it takes about approximately 4 hours to reach the destination. En route take a halt at Pampore saffron fields to enjoy the beauty of stretched saffron fields and know more about saffron cultivation. This station is one of the biggest saffron cultivation across the globe. On reaching Pahalgam, check into the hotel and relax for the day

Overnight stay is at the hotel.

Day 06: Pahalgam

Post breakfast, the sixth day of the tour is scheduled for Pahalgam sightseeing. The first stop while visiting the popular attractions of the town is the Avantipur ruins, which holds the ruins of two ancient temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. On the way one can take a small halt at Sangam Bat Factory which is one of the reputed organizations for creating professional bats out of log woods. The Anantnag Sulpher Springs is yet another destination which is believed to have magical healing powers in its waters and serves as an interesting destination for the tourists. After a long sightseeing tour throughout the day enjoy the evening sunset by having a stroll in the pine forest by the river. Overnight stay is at the hotel

Day 07: Pahalgam to Betaab Valley Excursion

After having breakfast set out for a scenic expedition to Betaab valley which is based on the north east of Pahalgam between the latter and Chandanwadi. This is previously named as Hagan valley but got the present name after a blockbuster Hindi movie Betaab being shot here in 1983. The scenic extravaganza of theis angelic valley of Pahelgam is simply breathtaking and captivating. Encircled by gigantic mountain ranges, soft bedded lands with lush greenery and featured deodar and pine trees makes it a treat to the eyes and a perfect example of Paradise on earth.

After the scenic tour return to hotel at Pahalgam for night stay.

Day 08: Pahalgam to Srinagar

Enjoy the buffet breakfast at the hotel and then set out for a long drive of 90kms to reach Srinagar. The journey is extremely scenic with pictorial views on every corner and takes about 3 hours to reach the destination. On arrival check in the hotel and refresh for a tour to the exquisite Mughal gardens famous in Srinagar. The first stop would be the Nishat Garden also known as “Garden of Pleasure” created by Mughal emperor Asif Khan in 1633. There is Garden of Love by Mughal King Jahangir built in 1619 which is equally attractive. Get into the shopping mode to buy some Kashmiri authentic handicrafts and dress materials and bag in some exclusive dry fruits of the state to enjoy the memories of the tour even later. Drop in to some local eateries to relish the local cuisine of Kashmir. Overnight stay is at the hotel.

Day 09: Srinagar to Delhi

Have breakfast at the hotel and then pack the luggages for a transfer to Srinagar airport. From here take a flight to Delhi and then to homeland.
