Day 1 : ARRIVE COLOMBO
Upon arrival at Colombo International airport you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to hotel, where you will proceed for check-in.
Colombo is the hub of commerce and administration of Sri Lanka. Colombo was a fort city during the times of occupation by successive European powers and architecture of buildings is a blend of the past influences.

Day 2 : COLOMBO
Morning:
Following buffet breakfast, Following buffet breakfast, you will proceed for sightseeing tour of Colombo. Visit the Colombo Museum, the Independence Square, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Town Hall and Parliament.
Return to your hotel after the sightseeing tour.

Day 3 : – PINNAWALA – SIGIRIYA
Morning:
After buffet breakfast proceed to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage was started in 1975 to house abandoned and wounded elephants. The sanctuary covers 25 acres of lush vegetation with an approximate population of about 77 consisting of both adult and baby elephants. The best time to visit is the feeding time and the bathing time; when all the elephants are taken to the river close by.
Afternoon:
Continue driving to Sigiriya, en route stop at a local village and enjoy a platter of tropical fruits. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel
Later visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Sigiriya is home to the 5th century “Fortress in the sky” which is the most fantastic single wonder of the island. On its summit are the foundations of what was once a great and sumptuous palace and garden complete with a swimming pool. On one of the stairways the only known ancient work of Sinhala secular painting survived in the form of frescoes of life sized damsels in all the freshness and delicacy of their original colour.

Day 4 : SIGIRIYA – POLONNARUWA – SIGIRIYA
Morning:
After breakfast you will proceed for full day excursion of Polonaruwa
The ancient lakeside Sacred City of Polonnaruwa was once the medieval Capital of Sri Lanka from 11 – 12 century AD. Polonnaurwa rose to fame after the decline of Anuradhapura. Here too, are the ruins of ancient Sinhala Civilisation – giant statues and dagobas, built by the kings of Sri Lanka. The remains date mostly from the reign of the Indian Chola dynasty in the 11th and 12th century. They cover a more compact site than at Anuradhapura and are in an excellent state of repair. added the outer ramparts. Visit its Hall of Public Audience and its Royal Pavilions.

Day 5 : SIGIRIA – KANDY
Morning:
After breakfast you will be driven to Kandy, en-route visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. Dambulla is famous for the five cave temples on a rock. All the five cave walls are covered with Buddhist murals. The largest cave carries some 48 statues of Lord Buddha alone, with statues of some Hindu gods (Vishnu and Saman).
Afternoon:
After sightseeing, continue driving to Kandy, upon arrival check in at the hotel.
Kandy the laidback capital of the hill country, and the historical bastion of Buddhist power, is built around a peaceful lake and set in a picturesque bowl of hills. Today it is the center of Buddhism, Arts, Crafts and Culture.
Later proceed to visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic – ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha’s Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orissan princess’s hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka’s most prized possession.

Day 6 : KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA
Morning:
After buffet breakfast you will be driven to Nuwara Eliya, en route visit a Tea Factory & Plantation. Upon arrival check in at the hotel
The “Little England” of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. The Victoria Park, in the middle of town, is a lovely place for a stroll or a picnic. Seasons may be absent elsewhere in Sri Lanka, but here you can read them by flowers, which bloom in the spring and the fall
Later you will proceed for sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya.

Day 8 : NUWARA ELIYA- COLOMBO – ONWARDS FLIGHT
Early morning you will be driven to Colombo International Airport to connect your flight to back home.
