Day 01 : Arrive Cochin

The tour begins from the exotic land of Cochin. On arrival at the Cochin airport, our representative will be happy to welcome and escort you to the hotel which has been previously booked for the guests. The representative will guide with check in formalities and help to settle in. After freshening up , its time to visit the versatile sightseeing spots in Cochin. There are various awe striking sightseeing locations in Cochin but the journey for the day will start with Jewish Synagogue which is an historical creation, built in 1568. The magnificent ornamentation with Chinese tile and Belgian chandelier is simply mesmerizing. From here the next would be Dutch Palace, built by Portuguese people in 17th century. Santa Cruz Basilica, built in 1905 and St Francis Church, the oldest Church built by the Europeans in the Indian land which incidentally holds the burial of Portuguese trader Vasco Da Gama are also worth visiting. Not to forget, the Chinese fishing nets is one of the key attractions of Cochin which is believed to be an inspiration from the court of Chinese ruler Kublai Khan. While checking out the Chinese nets don’t forget to enjoy the amazing beauty of the setting sun from Fort Kochi beach. After the beautiful scenery at the beach take some time out to stroll along the line of gushing backwaters in Marine drive which is simply spellbinding. After the tour in the land of Cochin, return back to the hotel, for delicious dinner and night stay.

Day 02: Cochin- Munnar

The next morning, have a filling breakfast at the hotel premises and leave for a splendid drive to Munnar based at a distance of 130kms from Cochin. It takes about 4 hours to reach Munnar from Cochin but the journey is the most enchanting one since it displays some of the exotic beauties of nature for which Kerala is famous for. Munnar itself has many scenic attractions considering it is one of the most popular locations in Kerala. Based at a height of 6000feet the hill town has lavish greenery encircling the area, beautiful streams, cascading waterfalls, thick vegetation, cardamom and tea plantations, pleasant climate and adventurous opportunities to make it so preferred among visitors. On arrival at Munnar, check in the pre booked hotel and relax. The rest of the day is free for visitors to enjoy leisure time or explore the neighbouring places. Dinner and night stay would be at the hotel

Day 03: Munnar

The third day of the tour is dedicated for a detailed visit in Munnar exploring its brilliant tourist spots. So after breakfast drive along to check out Christ Church, built in 1910, which according to the locals is the most pious spots of Munnar. After offering some prayers set out to v isit some more beautiful spots like panoramic Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Ahamudi peak, at 2695 altitude promising great trekking opportunities, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai and Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary famous for the endangered mountain goat, Nilgiri Tahr and tea gardens. After sightseeing, return hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 04: Munnar to Kumarakom

The next day have a relishing breakfast at the hotel and check out for a journey to Kumarakom town on the banks of Vembanad Lake. This is approximately 200kms from Munnar and takes about 5 hours to reach the destination. On the way stop by at the rubber and tea plantation areas to enjoy the lush greenery. On arrival check in the hotel and then get refreshed for splendid backwater tourism in Kumarakom. The first destination here would be the Kumarakom Bird sanctuary which is often also named as Vembanad bird sanctuary. Enjoy the visual treat of local and migratory birds comprising of Siberian Stork, Cuckoo, Waterfowls, Teals, Egrets, Herons, Darters, Wild Ducks, Brahminy Kites, Owls and others. In the evening one there are various entertainment options like taking a sunset cruise, wind sailing, water skiing or simple relax close to Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 05: Kumarakom – Alleppey

The morning starts early today by driving straight to Kottayam. On reaching there, board the beautiful houseboat and sail on a romantic journey to Alleppey ,which is often termed as the Venice of the East. With mesmerizing scenic backdrop, this location serves as Kerela’s backwaters hub and an ideal place to let the love bloom. The Kettuvallam stayor the houseboat stay for the night is extremely comfortable with all facilities and amenities inside the boat along with a chef to meet all the needs. The boat cruises along lush greenery and captivating scenic locations, providing an unforgettable treat to the eyes.

Day 06: Alleppey – Kovalam

In the morning have a leisure breakfast at the house and then complete the checkout formalities to disembark the houseboat. After hitting the roads it’s a straight drive to Kovalam which is located at a distance of 190kms from Alleppey and takes about 5 hours to reach. On the way enjoy the scenic extravaganza of the palm fringed Arabian Sea, stretched lagoons and coconut trees. On arrival at Kovalam, perform the check in formalities at the hotel and refresh for an entertaining day. Kovalam is a beautiful beach town which posses a harmonious and peaceful ambience that feels the heart with pleasure since it is a welcome break from the stressful city life for many. The greatest attraction here is the crescent shaped Kovalam beach divided into Hawa Beach, Samudra Beach and Lighthouse Beach. One can enjoy all kinds of watersports here or can simply busk in the wonderful climate and the ambience with the loved one. For all those who love to pamper themselves with a Ayurvedic massage, there’s excellent centers for that in Kovalam.

Enjoy a candle light dinner with the partner at the sea facing restaurants and retire to the hotel for the night.

Day 07: Kovalam

After having a mouthwatering delicious breakfast at the hotel, spend some time at the beach and then leave for Cape Comorin. Cape Comorin, is the name provided by the British to the beautiful and serene Kanyakumari based in the southernmost end of the Cardamom Hills. Here enjoy the visit at one of the oldest temples of the region dedicated to Lord Shiva and then check out the beach which posses’ multi colored sand. Padmanabhapuram Palace is another beautiful sightseeing spot here built in 16th century ornamented with architectural brilliance. Government Archeological Museum is another spot which can be visited to check out the ancient wood carvings, murals and breathtaking artifacts.

After finishing a detail visit in Cape Comorin return to Kovalam. Have delicious dinner and rest for the night at the hotel

Day 08: Kovalam – Trivandrum

On the last day of the tour, check out of the hotel and travel to Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala. It’s a journey of 18kms and takes about 45 minutes to reach the destination. On arrival at Trivandrum, visit the most interesting tourist destinations like Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum and Sri Padmanabha Temple. After sightseeing later in the day take a drive to airport and board a flight for homeland from Trivandrum airport.
